VAIL'S STORY

 

If I have a camera in my hand, I am happy. I specialize in headshots, event photography, and small business coaching. 

I received a Ph.D. in bioethics and an undergraduate degree in bioengineering, but I spent more time in the dark room than the lab during my college years.  I moved to DC to work in the world of health policy but got fed up with the partisanship so in 2010 I decided to pursue my passion for photography full time and I am so very glad I did.  

I love my job with every fiber of my being.  Getting people to be able to see themselves in the best light both, literally and figuratively, is incredibly rewarding. 

IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY

 

I have been through the roller coaster ride of emotional ups and downs that starting a small business entails. There were plenty of speed bumps along the way that would make you want to pull out your hair. 

But over time, through a series of trial and error I've come up with ways to make my business more profitable while working fewer hours. I developed this education program to help you avoid the common (and not so common) pitfalls so that you can get on the fast track to success, allowing you to turn your passion into a profitable profession.
